Diocesan support for children's work

Chelmsford Diocesan Board of Education provides support to children's work in parishes through a children's work adviser and its Children's Committee. NB Child Protection policy, advice and support is the responsibility of the Child Protection Adviser: see here for contact details.

Services provided

• Training for volunteer leaders
• Parish visits to advise on resources, development of children's work provision
• PCC / Deanery Synod or Chapter presentations
• Diocesan mailing CatchFire 3 times per year
• Loan of resource materials for evaluation
• Advice/Support/Training on recruitment procedures for the employment of full time children's workers
