Parishes and schools encouraged to work together

The Education team recently held a training day for representatives from schools and parishes to explore the best ways to work together. Among other matters, delegates considered the opportunities presented by the government's Extended Schools programme, how best to use church buildings as an educational resource, the value of overseas links and the role church members can play as school governors.
