Flying Fairtrade Flag

Huw Jacobs leads the ‘Peace & Justice' group which exists to be the conscience of St John's by regularly bringing peace and justice issues to our attention (through appeals, campaigns, lunches and magazine articles) and encouraging us to get involved.

In Fairtrade Fortnight, the group prepared a small exhibition stand, pictured right with Huw, publicising Fairtrade goods to users of the centre and raising awareness of the issues underpinning the fair trade movement. Fairly traded goods can be purchased at St John'sonce a month after our all-age service.
