Conference could not be greener

A DISTINGUISHED panel of speakers will address the Chelmsford Diocese Environment Conference in June. Keynote speaker, Elaine Storkey, UK president of the charity Tearfund, will be joined by Chris Walton, editor of Green Christian, the journal of Christian Ecology Link, who is also outreach director of Ringsfield Christian Ecology Study Centre in Suffolk.

Other principal speakers will include Daniel Kenny, the energy conservationist, and Dr Clare Ridgewell from Essex & Suffolk Water. The conference will explore the practical steps to lifestyle change.

It will take place on Saturday June 23 in Chelmsford cathedral chapter house from 10am to 3.30pm.

13.00 Fork buffet vegetarian lunch/stalls. Stalls will include Essex Energy Efficiency Advice Centre,Essex and Suffolk Water,Sustrans and Christian Aid, and will be located on first floor.

We would welcome a £5 donation from each delegate on the day towards costs.

Chelmsford railway station is five minutes walk from the Chapter House. The diocesan office car park will not be available on the day.
