Accessibility

Fonts and text

Research has shown that sans-serif fonts (i.e. those without ornamented letters, such as Arial) are easier for those with visual impairments to read.  As such, we aim to use these sorts of fonts in our site.  We also recognise that you may prefer to increase or decrease the overall size of the text when viewing web pages; our site is fully compatible with this and does not fix the size of the text at all.  While limited, Internet Explorer 6 does provide this option - go to View > Text Size and choose from the options there.  For more comprehensive control, try using a browser such as Firefox, Opera or Internet Explorer 7 .

Screen sizes

While all new computers these days come with screens capable of large resolutions, we appreciate that many of our visitors may be using smaller resolutions, such as 800x600.  As such, we have designed out web site to scale smoothly to fill your screen, no matter what size it is.  You can now view the web site at whatever size you prefer.
