Children's work home

  New children's adviser from 16th April

THE diocese has appointed Stephen Kersys as the new children's work adviser. The death of Paul Godfrey in August left a great gap in the work and support for the parishes. Stephen comes to the post from teaching in an Essex school. Earlier in his career he was a Bible lecturer and leader of a congregation. Stephen says " I am excited to be appointed and look forward to working with the children in the parishes in this diocese." Canon Peter Hartley, the Director of Education, said: "The education team is delighted to welcome Stephen on board and we await his arrival and look forward to the ideas and energy he will bring to the post." Stephen, who will take up the post on 16th April, worships at St Mary's Great Baddow.
