500 kids in for a summer treat
Children’s work adviser, Steve Kersys, is cooking up a feast of fun for children this summer.
The Chelmsford children’s festival will take place in and around the cathedral, on Saturday 20 June. This major event will feature messy art, music, sweet making and lots of fabulous food.
Steve says, "The festival is for any child who attends primary school together with their parents, carers and leaders.
"A giant banana split, recycled art, graffiti art, an action zone, a chill out zone, puppets, clowns and music will be just some of the things on offer. But there will be so much more. Church groups, school groups, family groups and uniformed groups are all invited to come and celebrate with us.
"We are delighted that costs are down to an absolute minimum – just £3 per child. Parents, leaders and carers are welcomed free of charge. Come and be part of a celebration of God’s children, with God’s children!"
Full details and information pack are available at www.saltshaker.org.uk . There is a strict limit of 500 children; so please send in your booking as soon as possible.
