Choristers unite for awards ceremony

DECEMBER marked the first joint presentation of Deans' and Bishops' Chorister Awards for the Dioceses of Brentwood and Chelmsford.

The award ceremony took place at Brentwood Cathedral in the presence of the two Bishops, the Rt Revd Thomas McMahon, Bishop of Brentwood, and the Rt Revd John Gladwin, Bishop of Chelmsford, and the two Deans, the Very Revd Peter Judd (Dean of Chelmsford Cathedral) and the Rt Revd Monsignor William Nix (Dean of Brentwood).

The service took the form of Choral Vespers, and the music was directed by Andrew Wright, Director of Music at Brentwood Cathedral.
