Making Sense of the Numbers, a guide written in November 2008 by Don Cardy and Robin Stevens to the 2009 diocesan budget can be downloaded here

The Cost per Incumbent Leaflet expresses diocesan expenditure
in terms of the number of incumbents in the Diocese
(this gives the figures needed for Share information in a TRIO brochure)

TRIO Resources

A description of the TRIO programme is given in the Introductory Leaflet
and the Outline Document

The full TRIO manual is in an A4 ring-folder and can be borrowed from Terry Gray at the Diocesan Office for as long as a parish needs it. However, once you have finished with it, PLEASE let Terry have it back so that other parishes can use it.

Download this specimen brochure and fill in your own details
to create a TRIO brochure for your hand-out pack

Download this specimen pledge sheet and adapt it to your needs
as a response form for the hand-out pack

Giving in Grace

If TRIO is not right for your parish, a Giving in Grace programme is a good alternative.

The programme has been developed by Liverpool diocese and can be designed to suit any parish.
However, this means that the website (www.givingingrace.org) has a huge number of resources and can be complicated to navigate

In consultation with Liverpool diocese, Martin has produced an outline of a typical programme which can be downloaded here and is designed to keep a clear overview in focus while working out the best options for an individual parish

Please note that Liverpool diocese are happy for their resources to be used free of charge but ask that a thank-offering be made in the form of a donation to the Church Urban Fund
