Chelmsford Diocese comprises 26 Deaneries (or clusters of parishes). Each Deanery is taking forward a development plan as part of its commitment to serve the local community. Exciting plans have been formulated by the Deaneries in response to God's mission to the world, and now they're being delivered. These are realistic plans that relate to specific needs, opportunities and resources in the local context. The process is known as the 'Deanery Vision'.
This page will feature a report from every Rural or Area Dean about the journey that the Deanery is on. Every month a new report will be added about the progress under way until all the Deaneries have been covered.
