DOES your parish want to ‘green' its church life and mission? A free workshop on Saturday September 27 will help you with a step-by-step guide along the way.
The campaign group, Eco-Congregation, has helped to inspire many different kinds of activities amongst congregations. The initiatives have included environmental audits, energy conservation, recycling, litter picks, tree planting, working with local groups, creation-focused hymns and prayers, bible studies and youth group work.
Churches which have received an award from Eco-Congregation for their environmental initiatives will give presentations.
