Session 5 of Equipping (Dealing with Difficult and Challenging Behaviour) will take place on the following dates:

equipping is aimed at volunteers working with young people(11+ primarily) in the local community, in churches, detached settings and everywhere else! Whether you have been doing youth ministry for 10 years, 10 days or 10 minutes, this course is for you!!

The course will run over 2 years, with a session in each half term = 12 sessions. Covering all aspects of youthwork such as Aims and Values, Youth Culture, Dealing with Difficult Behaviour, Programme Planning, Child Protection and Risk Assessment, Young People's Spirituality, Empowering Young Leaders...and much more.

You can take the whole course or dip into particular sessions that interest you. Completion of all 12 sessions and a portfolio leads to a Bishop's Certificate in Youth Ministry. Further training and experience can lead to an Archbishop's Certificate which is transferable throughout other Dioceses. The course will be run in three venues, accessible to all Areas of the Diocese.
