Downloads for parishes raising funds for major capital projects
Funder Finder
One possible source of money for major capital projects is charitable trust funds.
The problem is finding the ones most likely to give money to your project. Each has its own criteria for distributing funds but while some have millions of pound to distribute each year, others can have less than £100. A lot of time and effort can be wasted applying to trusts which were never likely to make a grant.
One way to identify charitable trusts whose criteria match your needs most closely is to use a computer programme to search for you. Bradwell Area Team holds a licence for a database of charitable trust funds called Funder Finder. While it cannot guarantee that the charitable trusts it identifies will make a grant, it can help target those most likely to do so.
It is available to search at Martin's office. To download an overview of the database, click here. Phone or email Martin to arrange a mutually convenient date to conduct your search. Martin will be happy to show you how to do it and to give advice on the best way to make your application
