House for Duty Priest

United Benefice of St Mary the Virgin, Hatfield Broad Oak with St John the Evangelist, Bush End

We are seeking the services of a priest to provide care for these rural parishes (1500 population).  The candidate should be approachable to all ages and have the ability to accommodate traditional worship whilst sharing an affinity with modern preferences.  There is strong lay support in both parishes.

In return for Sunday services and two days per week, the successful candidate will enjoy rent-free accommodation in the 35 year old, 5-bedroomed Vicarage which offers panoramic views of the Essex countryside.
