Statutory Inspection of Anglican Schools

When a school has an OFSTED inspection a Church of England school is required to have a Statutory Inspection of Anglican Schools, SIAS for short. The inspection framework is based, as is OFSTED, on school self-evaluation.

The Inspection Framework is available from the National Society website.

If a school is notified of an OFSTED inspection they should immediately contact the Education Department office.
