Archdeacon of West Ham's Lent lunch: 'Is God a West Ham supporter?'

The Archdeacon of West Ham, Ven Elwin Cockett, is asking whether God is a West Ham supporter and whether He calls others to support West Ham too! A West Ham fan himself, Elwin will ask these questions at a Lent lunch in Chelmsford cathedral on February 21.

Elwin has been the club chaplain to the Hammers for sixteen years, and during that time has got to know many staff and players, including John Moncur (pictured).

"The Football Supporter's Tale" will be told by The Ven Elwin Cockett at a Lent lunch in the cathedral on February 21. Bread and soup will be served from 12.30pm.
