More than 130,000 people will celebrate Christmas in our churches

A crowded churchChristmas congregations in the churches of Chelmsford Diocese are set to increase again this year. Numbers were up from 111,300 on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in 2005 to 122,300 last year, an increase of nearly 10 per cent. And more than 130,000 people are expected to celebrate Christmas in our churches this year.

A warm welcome awaits everyone at our parish churches and at Chelmsford Cathedral, where Services will be held at the following times:

Mon 24 3.30pm Crib and Christingle Service
Mon 24 6pm Service of Nine Lessons and Carols
Mon 24 11.30pm Midnight Eucharist
Tue 25 10am Christmas Day Eucharist.
