New fund will help C of E respond to God’s mission to Essex & East London

Chelmsford Diocese has launched a new fund to reach out to the wider community. Steven Webb, chief executive has said, “This Mission Opportunity Fund will go far beyond the maintenance of what we already have. It will develop innovative forms of mission and evangelism, including ‘fresh expressions of Church’. This will enable us to explore strategic moves that are decoupled from traditional geographical parishes and are in the longer term interests of our existing and future parishioners.
