Support global Pentecost prayers this Sunday!

The 'Global Day of Prayer London' will be celebrated this Sunday, May 31. Pentecost prayer events will take place in all 33 London boroughs. Special prayers will be said in all the London churches.

Chair of GDoP London, Rt Revd David Hawkins, the Bishop of Barking, invites everyone to join in this significant event. "I commend your support and engagement with this movement of prayer in London and elsewhere in the country," says the Bishop. "GDoP London has been commended again this year by the Prime Minister and the Mayor of London. It demonstrates that the Church is a strategic part of the political life of London and is a grass roots movement for transformation."

"The effect GDoP is having on inter-church relations is significant. Never before in London have so many denominations and Christians of different ethnicities prayed and worked together."
