The Big Feast...

...the action-packed festival for all primary school children

Saturday 20th June 2009, 9:30am - 3:30pm, Chelmsford Cathedral

Jam jarWhat is it?

  • an extra-ordinary extravaganza of festival fun for all primary aged children and their parents, carers and church leaders
  • a fantastic opportunity for children to enjoy big food, big music, big crafts, big games and big art in a safe area
  • a hands-on opportunity of fun and worship with hundreds of children from hundreds of churches, all centred on God’s celebration of Jesus

Who is it for?

The Big Feast is for any child who attends primary school (together with their parents or carers or church leaders). Whilst we are organising the festival for children who are in some way connected to Church of England, all children, regardless of church affiliation, are warmly welcomed.

How much does it cost?

We are delighted to announce that the full costs for children for the full day at our Big Feast Festival is only £3 per child. Parents, carers and church leaders attend free of charge.

We are determined to make our charges as low as possible so that as many people as possible might feel included. We are very grateful to Chelmsford Diocese Board of Education who generously subsidise the Festival.

Please note, whilst all the activities, crafts and games are free of charge, each person attending should bring their own packed lunch. Drinks will be provided.
