Transforming the communities of Essex & East London through Christ’s presence

The Path is an invitation to explore the call of Jesus in your life as you seek to use your gifts and live distinctively for Him in the world and the church.

The Path supports you as you ask this question over time with others in the Colchester Episcopal Area - from the earliest inkling to taking the plunge - offering events and a community to support you as you go. And because everyone is different, how you travel The Path will be unique to you.

The Path vocations day

Area Crossroads Day

Saturday 11th November, Holy Cross Church, Felsted

Colchester Area Crossroads Days are for people at every stage of exploring vocation to all sorts of ministry, lay and ordained. The day offers “retreat style” time-out to think and pray about your own direction in life, with an opportunity to meet and talk with other people on similar journeys.

There will be input by Rev. Olivia Maxfield-Coote, Curate of Great Notley, plus conversation and space to listen to God.

You can choose a range of conversations around the themes of:

  • Listening to God
  • Juggling vocation in the midst of life
  • Ordained & Lay ministries

The day is free and lasts from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm (coffee is available from 09:30, a free lunch is provided) and is packed with helpful information and valuable insights, all set in the context of worship.
