THE Bishop of Bradwell, Rt Revd Laurie Green, attended the first whole school assembly at South Woodham's Trinity St Mary school to dedicate the new hall extension.

Money from the Locally Controlled Voluntary Aided Projects fund, the school's own capital and fundraising provided £200,000 to significantly enlarge the school hall and office.

Architects' representatives Phil Ruffle (left) and Steve Martin (right) were given commemorative mugs in thanks for their work on the project. They are pictured with Chair of Governors Angela Tuff (second from left), Bishop
Laurie and headteacher Christina Gooday.
