Using our RSS Feeds

RSS - Really Simple SyndicationWhat is RSS?

Many web sites are now using RSS to enable visitors to keep up to date with news and developments.  We have an RSS feed set up on our Newscasts, so if you are subscribed to our feed then you can quickly and easily see which articles are new and which ones you've already read.

What do I need?

All you need to use RSS feeds is an RSS reader.  Which one you use will depend partly on what sort of computer you use and partly on your own preferences as to how you like to read RSS feeds.  There are programs that you can download which will manage your RSS feed subscriptions, and these will normally download the latest articles to your computer, allowing you to read them much the same as you might read e-mails.  There are also online RSS readers, which can be accessed from any computer.  Some web browsers also include an RSS reader, so that you can keep an eye on your subscriptions while you are surfing the web.  Below you will find a brief list of some of the options available.

Windows Newz Crawler
FeedDemon
Awasu
Mac OS X Newsfire
