Safeguarding Case Worker

Location: Chelmsford

The Diocese of Chelmsford is looking for an experienced professional to join our Safeguarding team as Safeguarding Case Worker.  The successful applicant will be responsible for managing a safeguarding caseload, undertaking risk assessments and delivering training to a wide ranging audience.

If you:

  • Have professional experience of safeguarding in the voluntary or statutory sector
  • Have investigative skills  and are able to confidently manage allegations of a safeguarding nature
  • Are experienced in delivering training packages
  • Are educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Are highly organised, able to work to deadlines and be resilient in a challenging environment

Salary: £30,000 to £33,500 per annum, subject to experience and qualifications. We offer a range of benefits, including flexible working, a competitive pension scheme and a city centre office location.

A part time appointment may be considered for an exceptional candidate.
