Education Support Officer

Location: Chelmsford

Would you like to work at the heart of our dynamic Education Team which serves 140 Church schools across the Diocese?

A new vacancy has arisen for an Education Support Officer to support our Schools Officer in financial, academy conversion and building project administration. The successful candidate will also work alongside an administrator colleague responding to schools and parishes needs with tact, organising events and updating our website and publications.  

If you can: -

  • Work with minimal supervision and are proactive when managing a workload which combines project work and administration tasks. 
  • Evidence education to degree level or relevant transferrable skills/experience
  • Work in an organised, methodical, efficient, analytical way, whilst able to think creatively and problem solve.
  • Use Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel proficiently and are able to design online resources
  • Display good written and verbal communication skills

Salary: £20,939 to £25,592 subject to experience and qualifications.

Full Time (35 hours per week), however, flexibility (e.g. during school holidays) may be considered for an exceptional candidate.
