How to measure and record how many people are viewing your livestream/video content.

 

Facebook:

Go to your page and click through Insights > Video > Posts . For each video you broadcast, record the ‘3 Second Video Views’ figure. 3 seconds is clearly a short period of time, but you can also look at analytics for total time your video has been viewed which allows you to get a richer pitcure of engagement.

 

Twitter:

When logged in, click through More > Analytics > More > Videos. For each video, use it’s ‘Video Views’ figure.

 

Youtube:

When logged in, click through Youtube Studio > Analytics > Overview. Scroll down and record the ‘views’ figure for each video.

 

Your total video views will accure over time, so to achieve a like for like comparison between your videos, it is important you measure views over a matching time frame.
