Mindfulness Areas support wellbeing and spirituality of pupils

The teaching staff at St Margaret’s Church of England Academy, Bowers Gifford, have created new mindfulness areas in the school grounds for the children to enjoy and to support their wellbeing.
The newly developed areas include a colourful outdoor garden space, reading area and an indoor quiet zone to nurture the mental health and spirituality of
Headteacher, Sally Finch commented:
“As always, the well-being of our children is paramount, especially upon our return to school following the recent national lockdowns and the uncertainty caused by the pandemic.
Our teachers have done a fantastic job creating our new mindful areas of calm. Children have really enjoyed making use of these spaces and we are thrilled with the results!”
