Transforming the communities of Essex & East London through Christ’s presence

Who is Jesus?

8th Nov 2018

Mini-cards about Jesus are prompting questions about who Jesus is among children and adults in Essex and East London schools and churches.

The ‘Who is Jesus?’ cards, written by Stephen Cottrell the Bishop of Chelmsford, make the most of the smallest of spaces to set out the clearest information.

"These little cards are having a big impact as conversation starters,” said Steve Kersys, Children’s and Families Adviser with the Diocese of Chelmsford.

"They go to show that it is possible to spell out who Jesus is in just a few words of plain English.”

Each foldable set of cards measures 74 x 105 mm. The ‘Who is Jesus?’ cards complement a previous set on the Lord’s Prayer. Chelmsford Diocese has distributed about 15,000 cards to schools and churches.

The cards can be ordered  free of charge by emailing Steve Kersys with a contact address and details of the theme and the number of cards required.
