Diocesan Director of Ordinands

The Bishop of Chelmsford is seeking a successor for Canon Philip Need on his retirement.

We have seen a big increase in the number of people exploring vocations to ordained ministry and our new DDO will be a key enabler for this to continue. She or he will lead a team of three including a PA, Assistant DDO and a Vocations Enabler.

This is a senior role in our Mission and Ministry Team that calls for a special mix of incumbency experience, spiritual maturity, vocational strategy and selection discernment combined with administrative flair and emotional intelligence.
