Mission and Development Adviser - Barking Area

The Barking Episcopal Area wishes to appoint a Mission and Development Adviser.

This 0.85 Full Time Equivalent post, alongside a parish or deanery ministry to be identified, is a key role on the Bishop of Barking’s Area Staff Team.

Aim: to develop and support mission focused change and transformation within the parishes and deaneries of the Barking Episcopal Area.

Key areas of focus:

• Church growth.

• Community engagement.

• The stewardship of parish buildings and promotion of affordable housing provision.

• Enhancing sacrificial giving and parish financial resourcing.

Contracted employment: on a 0.85 basis 

House for Duty licence under Common Tenure for parish/deanery role.£31,752 per annum pro rata.
