Facilities Manager

Working hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, subject to qualifications and experience

ROLE DUTIES

  • Act as the organisation’s accountable person for health and safety and fire safety at the relevant sites, including 53 and 58 New Street, St Marks Community Centre in Becton and the Retreat House at Pleshey
  • Ensure and support the effective corporate governance, by producing timely well written information as required reporting findings, risks, recommendations and actions to relevant trustee bodies and audit committee for decision.
  • Produce and maintain the review relevant corporate policies and procedures, including Health and Safety Policies and ensure collaboration with key stakeholder to ensure these policies are fit for purpose.
  • Manage the facilities budget, liaising with the Finance Team to track and report on expenditure.
     

CRITERIA

  • Substantial experience of Facilities Management in a corporate environment
  • IOSH or NEBOSH qualified
  • Experience of producing and presenting papers to committees
  • Experience of:
    • managing health and safety practice and policy, including in a corporate office environment
    • managing fire safety, including in a corporate office environment
    • commissioning and implementing property surveys and care plans
  • Collaborative and diplomatic, and able to demonstrate experience building effective and successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
