Working hours: 35 hours per week

Salary: £26,160 - £27,633

The Team Personal Assistant for Mission will provide support to colleagues who lead on supporting and developing mission across the Diocese.

The vacancy is an ideal opportunity for a self-starter with experience of working as a team PA. The post holder will apply discretion and diplomacy in their work and be competent to manage much of the work on their own.

ROLE DUTIES

  • To manage the Missional Team’s calendar and appointments in an accurate and efficient manner, ensuring that meetings, conference and training events are co-ordinated so that the relevant people are in the right place at the right time.
  • To attend and take minutes or notes at meetings when required
  • To attend and participate in occasional meetings of other PA’s within the CDBF office. 
  • Be part of the rota to cover CDBF reception to cover receptionist absence as required by the CEO & Diocesan Secretary PA.
  • To provide high-quality support to the Missional Team in preparation for key meetings and forums, including the collation of relevant documentation, creating agendas, preparing and distributing minutes, highlighting actions.

CRITERIA

  • At least ‘A’ level standard or equivalent level of education
  • Proven professional PA/administration support to a team
  • Experience of managing diaries and arranging meetings with multiple stakeholders.Experience of taking notes during meetings to prepare clear and accurate minutes.
  • Experience of Office 365 (or equivalent), Excel, Zoom, Teams and Electronic Diary Systems.  
  • Experience of drafting emails and correspondence relating to routine and non-routine matters.
