Team Rector - Epping Team Ministry
The Bishop of Chelmsford is looking to appoint a new Team Rector for the Epping Team Ministry to lead us into a vibrant and exciting future.
Comprised of three parishes, two rural and one in the heart of Epping each has a distinctive style of worship and each is committed to the shared life of the Team.
We are looking for a Team Rector who:
- is prayerful and can nurture the faith of the others
- prioritises ministry to our local schools
- continues our recognised work with those affected by dementia and domestic abuse
- works collaboratively with the ministry team and lay people and also with our partner organisations outside the church
- has energy for the vast opportunities for mission across our team
- can encourage our rich diversity of faith traditions and approaches to worship
- can come alongside people of all ages, backgrounds, and views and make everyone feel valued members of our church family
We offer:
- 3 parishes dedicated to spreading the Good News
- the support of a Team Vicar, an Associate Minister, two Licenced Lay Ministers, a Pastoral Assistant, a Team Administrator and a committed team of Churchwardens and lay people
- a wonderful location within Epping Forest with easy access to London via the Central Line tube service and both M11 and M25 motorways to the rest of the country
- 4 bed Rectory with a mature garden and off-street parking
