Unconscious Bias Training for Youth Workers

Daytime Stream - 10:30am until 2:30pm

Youth Ministry Essentials Course
Youth Ministry Essentials is a 9-part Youth Ministry course with a Bishops Certificate which is delivered over 9 evenings.

Training – Innovate
Innovate is our 4 evening (or 1 day) Youth Ministry course which is run by our team of Youth Advisers. Innovate covers the basics of Youth Ministry and aims to equip and support you in your youth ministry role. Please contact your Area Youth Adviser for details of the next Innovate in your area or to arrange one for your church.
Each area has different options for helping equip and resource young leaders including some area-based programmes and training for young people. Please contact your Area Youth Adviser for more information and to discuss this further.
Safeguarding & Youth Ministry
Safeguarding is an essential and integral part of youth ministry. If you have any questions about safeguarding then please view the safeguarding pages on the Diocese website here.
In 2018 there will be an opportunity all those involved in youth ministry to take part in C2 safeguarding (National Church of England training delivered locally by the Safeguarding Team). These dates will be advertised here when available: http://www.chelmsford.anglican.org/safeguarding/training

Do you or your team need bespoke training for your church activities or to broaden your expertise and understanding?
Our Youth Advisers are available to offer training to you or to suggest other sources or trainers to help you develop in your youth ministry.
Topics such as: Dealing with Challenging Behaviour, Programme Planning, Releasing and Empowering Young Leaders, Residential activities and Holiday Clubs, Child Protection, Online Safety, Personal Boundaries and Time Management, Adolescent and Faith Development, Youth Culture and Understanding it, Using Prayer Stations with young people, Working with Schools etc.....are all available and much more, depending on your needs and context!
