Associate Vicar - St Andrew Hornchurch

We are a large, historic and vibrant parish in an exciting stage of our life as we equip ourselves for the future.

We are looking for a dynamic, prayerful priest who will, alongside the Vicar, share the responsibility for the overall leadership and direction of the parish, the support and training of volunteers and the oversight of the staff team.

We are seeking an Associate who will be expected to: 

• lead regular worship and our many occasional offices;

• develop and oversee our social media presence;

• undertake a share of pastoral duties;

• have a commitment to overseeing continued development of youth ministry, including engagement with schools, while being involved in ministry to all generations within the community and congregation;

• explore new ways of ministry and outreach;

• be committed to taking an active role in Havering Deanery (the Vicar is currently Area Dean) and the wider network of churches within Hornchurch.
