On Wednesday evening, 6 July, we celebrated our Course in Christian Studies (CCS) students who had completed the course at a special celebration evening at Chelmsford Cathedral.
The celebration service was led by the Very Revd Nicholas Henshall, the Dean of Chelmsford.
During the service, students were presented their certificates by the Rt Revd Lynne Cullens, the Bishop of Barking and their local course leaders.
The Course in Christian Studies is a two-year foundation course exploring the Christian faith with other learners. Classes are delivered weekly in local centres around the diocese or the course can be accessed online. Graduates from the course are presented with a Bishop’s Certificate.
