People from across Chelmsford Diocese gathered at Chelmsford Cathedral on Sunday 16 February for the Installation of the Venerable Dr Sue Lucas as Archdeacon of Southend.
Sue was previously Team Rector of East Ham and Area Dean of Waltham Forest in the Barking Episcopal Area, and was announced as the next Archdeacon of Southend in December 2024. She succeeds the Venerable Mike Power who became Archdeacon of West Ham last year.
