The Diocesan Human Resources Team provides HR advice and support to the Diocese and parishes around all types of employment matters, including the appointment and management of staff and volunteers.The team can also provide templates and resources for parishes to use in their own settings.
Our HR team works in line with the Church of England’s Safer Recruitment and People Management Guidance when hiring staff and supporting parishes. These guidelines help us make sure every recruitment process reflects best practice and is carried out thoroughly and thoughtfully.
