The Parish Administrator will support and assist to implement our vision for the clergy, church, and parish community. We are looking for someone who has the experience and flexibility to support us as we grow in response the changing needs of the church and the parish.
St John with Christ Church is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. All post holders and volunteers are expected to share this commitment.
The Parish Administrator will fulfil a vital role in the life of St John’s Church in Stratford, helping to ensure the smooth running of the parish and supporting the clergy and laity in the vocation of the church.
Administration
To be responsible for the competent management of the church’s administrative matters and diary.
Financial and Charity Management
To be responsible for the efficient maintenance of systems and processes to ensure that PCC’s financial, stewardship and other legal obligations are complied with.
People
To be accountable to the Parish Church Council through the line management of the Vicar and Church Wardens.
To be a key member of the Church Staff Team and share the team’s corporate responsibilities.
To engage and liaise with church staff, the congregation, church visitors and other church users.
To engage and liaise with relevant authorities, sub-contractors, tradespeople, and external organisations as appropriate.
