St Michael’s Myland is an open, welcoming and compassionate church located in the centre of an expanding suburban community in the north of the vibrant new city of Colchester.
We are looking for a new Priest-in-charge who is
• kind, compassionate, approachable, friendly and a good listener, both a team player and a strategic leader
• community minded and keen to work collaboratively within and beyond the Parish
• excited to work with both children and teenagers as well as with older people to build a multi-generational church, bringing new ideas for Sunday worship, particularly around Family Services.
• experienced at working with local schools, and who can strengthen the ties that currently exist at the festival times of the year towards an ‘all year round’ ministry
• prayerful, faithful and resilient
• someone who delights to walk with those who are new to faith and those who have been faithful over many years.
