Christchurch Three Mills is a local, new, pioneering expression of church in the Stratford area of East London with a heart to love widely, live deeply and gather community
We are offering an exciting opportunity to be our Youth Pastor – leading our community and church-based youth work to reach young people on our estate, grow more young disciples and develop young leaders in our church and neighbourhood. This is a great opportunity for the right person to invest in our church and community, and also develop their own capacity for ministry and leadership in our church committed to seeing everyone become all God has called them to be.
The purpose of this role is to grow and develop our work reaching out to young people (and their families) in our local community. At the moment some of the key elements of this are our weekly detached youth work on our estate, a monthly youth group, and regular youth led Sunday Services. Your job would be lead us as a church in reaching, enabling and discipling young people to become all that God has called them to be. We hope you would have some experience of work with 11-18s in or outside of church and a desire to grow into church leadership. Youth work or related qualifications would be a desirable but not essential to apply.
Would you prayerfully consider whether this could be you? Why not check out the job pack and application form, and get in touch with our lead minister; the Rev. Dan Scott, with any questions you may have, or to arrange an informal conversation or visit; dan@christchurchthreemills.co.uk. Full details also available at www.cc3m.co.uk/vacancies
